My goal as a piano teacher, is to create a positive environment where the love of music can flourish. Music should be fun and I love teaching and sharing this gift with others.

I love to teach classical repertoire, but also teach other styles of music should the student wish it. What is important is that the student has fun and enjoys practicing.

I teach children and adults, and adapt my teaching according to each student's needs.

People often ask me when their children are old enough to begin learning to play the piano. I have had great success with children who have begun as young as five years old, but it really depends on the personality of each individual.

My skills include teaching students with special needs. I am at present working with a high-functioning Autistic teenager. His achievements include solo and duet performances during our biannual recitals.

Most of my students follow the curriculum of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music.
